Who makes Logitech

Logitech describes itself as a Swiss company focused on innovation and quality. It was founded in 1981 in Lausanne, Switzerland, designs software-enabled hardware for work and play, and sells in nearly every country.

For meeting rooms, Logitech makes all-in-one video bars, PTZ cameras, touch controllers and the Rally Board 65 collaboration display, all managed through Logitech Sync. Kasturi, an authorised Logitech partner, surveys the room, specifies the model and installs it.

Which Logitech system do I need?

Choose by room size. Huddle and small rooms suit Rally Bar Huddle, or MeetUp 2 where a room PC or laptop runs the call. Small to medium rooms suit Rally Bar Mini. Medium to large rooms suit Rally Bar or Rally Bar 2. Large and extra large rooms suit the modular Rally Plus, with up to 7 Rally Mic Pods. Rally Bar is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.

Planning the budget

What drives the cost

Logitech's Malaysian site shows no prices, so every system is quoted after the survey. These four things set the size of the quote.

Room size and layout

Huddle rooms use compact bars. Medium and large rooms need longer camera reach, more microphone coverage or a modular system.

Platform and mode

Appliance mode on CollabOS avoids a separate room PC but needs a room software licence. A dedicated PC or a laptop changes the hardware and licensing.

Audio coverage

Integrated audio in the bar suits smaller rooms. Larger rooms add Rally Mic Pods, or pair a Rally AI Camera Pro with a pro audio system from a partner such as Biamp, Q-SYS or Shure.

Control and extras

Tap or Tap IP, a Tap Scheduler booking panel, a second camera such as Sight, or a Scribe whiteboard camera add to the system.

The proposal separates equipment from installation. Where Logitech is part of a video conferencing room, Kasturi's published room bands apply: a huddle room from RM 8,000, a meeting room from RM 15,000 and a boardroom from RM 30,000, covering hardware and system, with installation and cabling quoted after the survey.

Free in Peninsular Malaysia. Outside the Klang Valley it usually starts on a video call, then one site visit.

Proposal

A proposal for the building that names each Logitech model and separates equipment from installation.

Install

A meeting room typically takes 1 to 2 days, a boardroom or training hall 3 to 5 days. Wiring can be after hours or at weekends.

Handover

Every room is tested before handover and staff are trained. Support responds within 4 business hours.

Is Kasturi an authorised Logitech partner?

Yes. Kasturi is an authorised Logitech partner. Kasturi's own engineers and technicians survey, design, install and support every room, outstation projects included. No subcontractors.

Which Logitech video bar fits my room?

Logitech sizes its video bars by room. Rally Bar Huddle is for huddle and small rooms, Rally Bar Mini for small to medium rooms, and Rally Bar and Rally Bar 2 for medium to large rooms. Large and extra large rooms use the modular Rally Plus. The survey confirms the choice against the room's length, seating and acoustics.

Does Rally Bar need a room PC?

No. Rally Bar can run as a meeting room appliance on Logitech CollabOS, which needs a room software licence bought separately. It can also run in USB mode with a meeting room PC, or from a laptop.

How much does a Logitech room cost in Malaysia?

Logitech's Malaysian site shows no prices, so every system is quoted after a site survey, with equipment and installation separated. Where Logitech is part of a video conferencing room, Kasturi's published room bands apply: a huddle room for 2 to 5 seats from RM 8,000, a meeting room for 6 to 12 seats from RM 15,000, and a boardroom for 12 to 20 seats from RM 30,000. Starting prices cover hardware and system. Installation and cabling are quoted after the survey.

Which platforms do Logitech room systems work with?

Logitech lists Rally Bar as certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Support differs by device: Tap IP, for example, is certified for Teams Rooms on Android and for Zoom Rooms. Logitech keeps the current list at logitech.com/support/vc-certifications, and the proposal names the platform for each room.

Can I add microphones to a Rally Bar?

Yes. Rally Bar takes up to four Rally Mic Pods and Rally Bar Mini up to three. Rally Plus takes up to seven. Each Mic Pod has a 4.5 m pickup range and puts a mute control on the table.

How long does installation take?

A huddle room takes 1 day. A meeting room takes 1 to 2 days. A boardroom or training hall takes 3 to 5 days. Wiring can be done after hours or at weekends.

Is the site survey free?

The consultation, product demo and site assessment are free in Peninsular Malaysia. For East Malaysia, contact Kasturi to arrange the project discussion. Outside the Klang Valley the survey usually starts on a video call, then one site visit.

What warranty and support come with the system?

Logitech's Malaysian product pages list a 2-year limited hardware warranty on Rally Bar, Rally Bar 2 and Rally AI Camera Pro. Other hardware in the room is generally covered for 1 to 2 years, subject to each manufacturer's terms. Kasturi's support responds within 4 business hours.
