Our Story

1998

The year we started. Still here.

In 1998, video conferencing in Malaysia was complicated, expensive and mostly broken. Systems cost a fortune, required a dedicated IT person to operate and still failed on the days you needed them most. Kasturi Technology was founded to fix exactly that.

We started in Petaling Jaya. Three staff. One office. One belief: your meeting room should work every single time, without needing IT to babysit it.

That standard has not changed. What has changed is our scale. Over 27 years, we've delivered 500+ projects for companies including Perodua, BASF, CIMB, Shell, Gamuda and Mitsubishi. We've fitted out small meeting rooms and entire training campuses. Government agencies, Fortune 500 offices and growing local businesses — all of them. Some of those early systems are still running today.

Today, our team of certified AV engineers is based at Phileo Damansara 1, Petaling Jaya. We have a working showroom where you can test any solution before you commit. We serve the whole of Malaysia. We do it ourselves — no subcontracting, no outsourced support lines.

1998 — Founded

The Beginning

Kasturi Technology established in Petaling Jaya with one mission: make AV technology reliable and accessible for Malaysian businesses. Three staff, one office and zero compromise on quality.

Expanded to serve Fortune 500 companies and Malaysian government agencies across Klang Valley. Built a reputation for reliability and for giving advice that put clients first, even when it cost us a sale.
